Your Second Visit to Our Birmingham Practice

At your Report Of Findings our Chiropractor will tell you, in clear, simple language, what is wrong with you, what can be done about it and what you should expect when you receive your first adjustment. You will probably be told about any exercise or changes to your lifestyle or diet that may be beneficial, so that you can help yourself. A part of getting better is up to you, so please follow any instructions and advice carefully and completely.
You will also be advised of all costs that relate to your future care. It would be appropriate, at this point, for your chiropractor to tell you of any likelihood of a recurrence of your problem, and the possible need for any ongoing supportive care. This is not an unusual situation for patients who have had serious injuries, as well as those who have long-term problems due to wear and tear to the joints.
We suggest that you bring your partner with you for this second appointment. We find that when they understand your complaint and treatment, there is more support and encouragement in getting you well.
If chiropractic appears not to be suitable for you, you will be referred to your GP or the appropriate specialist. Your details are confidential and no one else will be able to see your notes without your permission.
If you are in agreement it is likely you will receive your first treatment following your Report Of Findings.
Our reception staff will then agree a treatment plan schedule with you. Typically the initial stage may be quite intensive so it is well worth bringing along a diary so that we can arrange the most convenient times for you so as to minimise the impact on your daily life. You will also be advised of all costs related to your treatment and also our process for any medical insurance or personal injury claims that may be related to your case.
